Researchers from the University of Arizona recently demonstrated their work at the Arizona Connected Vehicle Test Bed in Anthem, Arizona for the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors. Dr. Larry Head and his team recently completed the second phase of their $2 million research program with USDOT and MCDOT, and are currently pursuing funding for the project’s third phase, which will include instrumenting up to 20 percent of vehicles used by Anthem residents as well as freight trucks along SR85 in Phoenix.
