Each year, ITS Arizona partners with WTS to sponsor internship opportunities with local agencies and consultants. Our newest ITS Arizona intern is Ema Shqalsi, who will be working with Valley Metro. Ema is currently a senior studying Civil Engineering at Arizona State University, with a focus in Sustainability and a minor in Urban Planning. Ema is passionate about the built environment and plans to attain a Masters in Architecture so that she can practice both engineering and design in her career. Her career and life goals include creating healthier and more efficient cities and buildings, revitalizing existing cities and closing the gap between innovation and the last mile.
ITS Arizona is pleased to support Ema in her work with Valley Metro and wish her continued success.
