by Stephen Doubek | Dec 18, 2014

This year’s Holiday Party at the Hukilau Hawaiian Village was a resounding success! Over 80 members and guests enjoyed great food and drinks at a very picturesque venue and were treated to some awesome entertainment, some of it provided by our very own members!

We also made a significant donation to the City of Scottsdale Vista del Camino Food Bank, collecting $365 in cash, along with a large box of non-perishable food items. Connected vehicles are coming…

by Stephen Doubek | Sept 22, 2014

…and your community can be part of the evolution of this exciting new technology. Consider becoming part of the U.S. Department of Transportation’s (USDOT’s) Connected Vehicle Pilot Deployment Program.

The USDOT has begun taking steps to enable wireless vehicle-to-vehicle communication technology for light vehicles. This technology would improve safety by allowing vehicles to “talk” to each other and ultimately avoid many crashes altogether and can be leveraged in innovative ways to improve traveler mobility and reduce environmental impacts.

The Connected Vehicle Pilot Deployment Program is helping to make connected vehicles a reality by testing this technology in several U.S. communities. For more information, download the CV Pilot Flyer.
